Cervical Screening

Cervical screening, also known as a smear test, is a test to check the cervix and help prevent cervical cancer. It is offered to women and people with a cervix aged 25-64.

Our service does not routinely offer cervical screening. If you are due to have a test please contact your GP.

Cervical screening us usually done in a GP surgery by a female nurse or doctor.
