Under 25s

All of our services are young people-friendly and we welcome young people aged 13 to 25 to attend any of our clinics. 

Our services provide free and confidential help, support and advice.

We also offer drop-in clinics specifically for young people to access.

Outreach clinics

Outreach Sexual Health Services can provide all young people under 25 with:

  • Free contraception.
  • Condoms.
  • Mini screen for HIV, Syphilis, Chlamydia, and Gonorrhoea testing.
  • Pregnancy testing and options.
  • Emergency contraception, also known as the ‘Morning After Pill’.
  • Advice and guidance about sex and relationships, resisting peer pressure, sexuality, contraception, STIs, pregnancy testing and emergency contraception.

These clinics have dedicated slots for young people at the following times and locations: 

  • West Notts College: Derby Road site Wednesday 12-14:30, Thursday 12-14:30
  • Bilborough College: Mondays between 10:00-13:00 and Friday between 11:00-14:00.
  • Nottingham College (rotating sites) : Tuesday between 10:00-13:00.
  • Bulwell Riverside Youth & Play Sexual Health Clinic: Thursday between 15:00-19:00.
  • West Notts College: Chesterfield Road site Tuesday 12:15-13:15
  • Brackenhurst College: Thursday 11-13:30
  • Outwood Academy: Friday 12:10-13:50
  • Ashfield Comprehensive: Monday 13:25-14:05

Please note that the clinics based within further education colleges and schools operate during term time and are only open to students of the college and school only.

Young people can access our regular clinics by calling 0300 131 7010 to make an appointment. 

25s and under clinic

Victoria Health Centre runs a Young People’s Clinic. Young People are able to drop-in, there is no need to book an appointment.

These drop-in sessions run every Monday to Thursday between 2pm – 7pm at:

Confidentiality

All young people, including those under 16 have the right to private and confidential sexual health advice.

All our services are strictly confidential for all our patients, no matter the age or circumstance. Information our patients give us is not shared with anyone outside our sexual health service without the consent of our patients, unless it is necessary to protect someone from serious harm. Our higher standards of confidentiality are discussed with patients when they first attend our service.
